In the Works
With the start of the 2002-2003 winter season, there was the anticipation
for what the future held. Beaver Creek celebrated its 20th Anniversary
season last year with two exciting accomplishments - record-breaking
numbers for both skier visits and guest service survey results.
As Beaver Creek embarks on another 20 years, the resort is focused
on fine-tuning its strengths and embracing new opportunities for
innovation and growth.
With the introduction of eVill@ge, Beaver Creek intends to provide
hassle-free activity planning for guests by adding a new virtual
concierge service in hotel and condominium guestrooms. After beta-testing
eVill@ge in The Pines Lodge, this proprietary concierge system,
developed by Vail Resorts is currently being rolled out to additional
lodging properties in time for the 2001-2002 season.
The Resort also looks for innovations in the preservation of its
natural resources, with a continued emphasis on environmental
awareness.
